Family Support Workers

Family support workers offer emotional and practical support to families who are going through long or short-term difficulties. Our staff will work on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis and can help with parenting skills, such as routines, communication, strategies for managing behaviours, family time, cooking on a budget, and in some cases, they may address separation and divorce, marital discord and care orders.

The aim of this service is to reduce the likelihood or need for a child to be removed from a family through developing skills and coping strategies within the family unit.

Bed Watch

We offer an end-to-end bed watch solution for NHS or local authorities. Our trained staff can provide one-on-one assistance for potentially high risk situations. Keeping young people safe when they need support for physical and mental health needs in hospital can be very demanding. We completely understand the pressures this can put on Authorities, Workers and Family Members alike. We can deploy teams to help provide calm, trained, professional support releasing medical or security staff to complete their core roles. Our Team Members fully understand the complexity and need for compassionate and discreet care services whilst protecting and support hospital staff, family and friends and the young people themselves.

Missing persons

Collecting Children and young people who have absconded or have been missing from home or placement, from Police stations, Social Services, Court, and any other destinations requested by Social services. Returning them safely to where they need to be.

Supervised Family Contact

Our staff will transport children and young people to family contact at an agreed venue and fully observe the contact, in our ‘Record of Events’ document and then send this back to the Social Worker on request.
